No-Rethread Harness System and Comfort Features
The tangle-free, five-point harness allows for multiple height positions and can be adjusted without dismantling the harness or removing the car seat from the vehicle. Two buckle positions provide a snug, comfortable fit as your child grows. The seat's harness holders prevent the straps from getting in the way when you're putting your child in the seat, while the EZ-Buckle system maintains the harness buckle in a forward position to prevent your child from sitting on it when first entering the seat. Rear- and forward-facing recline options, as well as high-density foam cushioning, help your child relax on the journey. And the plush cover comes with matching comfort pads and an infant positioning pillow to keep children of all ages comfortable and secure.Product Information: The Britax Boulevard is assembled in the USA and has a seven-year life. What's in the Box: Boulevard Convertible Car Seat, removable cover, comfort pads, infant positioning pillow, and user guide.
First of all let me start off with stating that I love Britax Car Seats. Britax has made installing car seats very easy, especially with cars using the latch systems. Also adjusting straps on a Britax car seat is so simple, for most models, including this one. There is no need to re-thread for differences in weight and height.
I also have the Boulevard in the G3 model, it seems to me that the G4 is slightly roomier and has a more streamlined design. The material is a bit easier to clean. Other than that, I don't really note any differences, but this is what compare.blogspot has for differences:
The G4 Britax Convertibles will have:
The labels of G4 models are color coded; each type of seat has a specific color.
The maximum shoulder height for rear facing position will be on cover for parents.
Weight limits are now 65 lbs, which are 70 lbs. in previous models, (i.e. Marathon-70, Advocate-70). So weight limit of G4 models is 65 lbs.
A new infant insert is designed for G4 series for child up to 22 lbs.
The HUGS design is updated, now it is more difficult for children to push down.
I am happy with all my Britax car seat purchases. The only complaint I have is the weight. I do have a Cosco on hand for when I need to carry the car seat out of the car and on a plane, etc. The Cosco is much lighter (and cheaper) but my child will complain if he has to sit in it for a long time and he never complains in the Boulevard.
